Carroll Stays Undefeated on the Season, Pietrasiewicz & Bradley Shine in Double Loss to a Deep Hopkinton Squad.

In a scorcher at Hopkinton State Park yesterday, the Lancers came up short on both sides.  The girls (4-1) lost 36-25 while the boys (3-2) lost 36-23.

Austin Carroll ran a smart race and pulled out the win in the last 200 meters to be the overall boys winner on day.  After 5 races this season, he has won every race and stays undefeated.

In an incredibly fun-to-watch girls race, freshman sensation Bella Pietrasiewicz and veteran senior captain Katie Bradley were in 6th and 8th respectively after two miles. In the final mile of the race, the girls had a huge negative split and finished the race 1st overall and 2nd overall after some great pacing on the hottest meet day of the season.

Girls Stay Undefeated Beating DS & Medway; Boys Split. Carroll and Bradley Continue Their Winning Ways!

Congrats to the girls XC team who beat the Dover-Sherborn Raiders 23-32 and Medway Mustangs 17-42!  The girls move to 4-0 on the young season and stay undefeated.

Winning the overall tri-meet race in the rain was senior captain Katie Bradley followed closely by Norton's Bella Pietrasiewicz in the second spot. Norton had 5 placements in the top ten.  5th overall was Calie Shea, 7th - Hannah Delea, and 10th - Sarah Lafrancois!

The girls had 4 PR's on the day in VERY TOUGH and rainy conditions. Those athletes were: Amelia Kirshon, Hope LeClaire, Abbey O'Brien, & Catherine Whittington.

On the boys side, they split, beating Medway 27-32, and losing to Dover-Sherborn 33-24.  The boys move to 3-1 on the season.

Austin Carroll stayed undefeated on the season winning the race with a new PR! Freshman Paul Wisnaskas is making a name for himself, placing 2nd for the Lancers and 8th overall. DJ Nihill was Norton's other top 10 finisher.

Norton Defeats Holliston in Double Wins: Girls 24-33, Boys 27-28 in a Barnburner!

Congrats to both the boys and the girls cross country teams, who in their home TVL openers defeated two very tough Holliston Panther squads. 

The girls started the very hot day off by winning 24-33. In a well paced race, senior captain and school record holder Katie Bradley worked her way to the front of the pack and eventually the lead to take home the win on her home course. Following Katie for the Lady Lancers were freshman Isabella Pietrasiewicz (3rd), Calie Shea (5th), Hannah Delea (7th), Sarah Lafrancois (8th), Meg Nichols (10th), and Kaylee Annand (13th) to round out the varsity squad. Meg Nichols was able to displace as Norton's 6th runner. The girls team had TEN personal records overall! The girls move to 2-0 on the season!

The boys won a VERY tightly contested race 27-28. Junior Autin Carroll lead from the start to take home the win in 17:54 over the course of the 5K. Following Austin and rounding out varsity was senior Pat Bingel (4th), DJ Nihill (5th), Paul Wisnaskas (8th), Ethan Tetrault (9th), James Wilson (11th), and Brandon Morabito (12th). The boys team had SIXTEEN personal records overall! The boys also move to 2-0 on the season!

Norton Battles West Bridgewater in Non-League Season Opener!

Congrats to both teams who took home close victories against West Bridgewater to start the season off. The boys won 26-34 and  the girls won 27-29.


Austin Carroll won the boys race outright with a very fast time to start the season (5:46 pace), with DJ Nihill placing 4th overall and Ethan Tetrault placing 6th. Following that, the boys packed it up big  time with Wilson, P. Wisnaskas, Bingel, Steele, and Morabito all placing 7th-11th!


On  the girls side, rookie freshman phenom Isabella Pietrasiewicz placed 2nd overall in a very composed and solid race! Veteran and school record holder and senior captain Katie Bradley placed 4th overall. Placing 6th through 8th for the Lady Lancers were Sarah Lafrancois, captain Calie Shea, and senior Meg Nichols.

The linchpin, however, for the girls was Norton's 6th place Hannah Delea who beat out West Bridgewater's 5th runner (Kaplan) to earn the displacement points to get the girls to eek out the victory 27-29!
