Norton Trounces Randolph in Non-League Matchup!

The division 5 Norton girls and boys cross country teams beat division 4 Randolph in easy fashion today. The girls won 15-45 and the boys won 15-50. The girls placed the top 6 and the boys placed the first 17 before letting any Randolph runners come in.

Jess Greco, once again, was 1st for Norton with a PR 7:06 pace (20:34 for 2.9 miles) and worked with captain Stacie Linfield, who was close behind her by the finish. The girls team had 8 personal records on the day!

Max Marcotte was back to his winning ways barely beating Billy Sullivan at the line by one second to take the overall spot. Both Norton athletes ran a blistering 5:32 pace over the 2.9 mile course for new personal records. Twenty two boys ran personal records today, while six boys ran a sub-six minute per mile pace.
