The Norton boys XC team had a fantastic meet against close-ranked Holliston today beating them 17-40. Norton's Billy Sullivan took charge and won it for the Lancers with a 5:42 pace per mile over the 2.85 mile course. Close behind Billy were teammates Max Marcotte (5:45 pace) and Mason Rouillard (5:46 pace) in second and third. The boys had 5 boys place in the top six!
This was only the second time in Norton's history they have beat Holliston in the Tri-Valley League! Congrats boys on a great run today!
The Norton girls struggled to follow suit. Norton's lead runner Jess Greco placed first again for Norton and broke up the Holliston sweep placing 5th overall. The girls lost 47-16.
